Warner Bros. Animation produced the American animated sitcom The Looney Tunes Show, which aired on Cartoon Network from May 3, 2011, to August 31, 2014. Characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoon shorts have been updated for the twenty-first century in this series, which has two seasons with a total of 26 episodes each.
Along with "colorful neighbors" like Lola Bunny, Tina Russo, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester, Tweety, Granny, Gossamer, Yosemite Sam, Speedy Gonzales, Marvin the Martian, Pete Puma, and others, the show centers on roommates Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck who live in a Los Angeles suburb. The show was more adult-oriented and dialogue-driven, with love triangles, jobs, and rooming, and it had less slapstick and visual humor.
